Kingston Carton achieves 'AA' grade BRC status

Kingston Carton Company Ltd, one of the premier UK manufacturers of high quality printed & plain folding cartons, has obtained the highest grade certification possible, 'AA' from The British Retail Consortium (BRC), following a rigorous inspection of its dedicated manufacturing facility, to the new Issue 5 of the Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials. Kingston Carton exceeded all standards in an extensive audit, and remains one of the highest scoring carton manufacturers within BRC accreditation and is representative of its 15 years of accreditation at this level. The award is testament to the company's commitment to service, quality, exemplary procedures and high quality staff. Gary Tebbutt QA Manager at Kingston Carton explains: "We are always looking for ways to improve our business practices, and to be recognised by the BRC for our continued commitment to quality is fantastic. We maintain these high standards through continued investment in people, equipment and facilities. The BRC status acts as an assurance to our customers that all the manufactured products that we supply have been produced safely by experienced, professional staff to the highest standards, using state of the art technology and following rigorous procedures." To meet the requirements of the Standard the company yet again surpassed expectations across a stringent set of criteria for accreditation. The principal requirements are the adoption and implementation of a Hazard and Risk Management system, a documented and effective quality management system and control of factory environmental standards, products, processes and personnel.
